The Academy started its humble beginning in Amanzimtoti where it was run on a part-time basis in October 2005 offering tap, modern and hip hop classes for ages 3 and above.
Its ongoing commitment in providing high quality service and dedication to its pupils and parents has caused the studio to grow at an alarming rate resulting in the Academy operating on a full-time basis.
Since then the Academy has partnered up with Wendy Reinhardt Dance Academy offering ballet classes from the age of 3 and has started offering Contemporary, Burlesque and Stretch classes.
Classes are offered to anyone above the age of 3 years. You are never too old to start!

Yes! We even cater for those who only wish to attend the class for the love of dance.
I did stretch classes with Minette and it was absolutely amazing, unfortunately I couldn’t continue as I work over seas but every time I come back home I make sure to be there. I did things I never thought my body could do – I looked and felt amazing.

As a mom, I feel it’s so important to get your kids to be a part of something bigger, of a team.. (the bonus is it will keep them out of nonsense when they’re teenagers too.. haha)

Minette is always professional, and really teaches great technique – whilst encouraging and being positive. It’s clear this is her absolute passion and she invests a lot into what she does.. My daughter adores her! Yours will too!
