Introduction

A new curriculum brought out by the ISTD, students will be taught the characteristics and principles particularly attributable to Contemporary Dance.  These among others include:

  • Extended Falls
  • Extension of Leg to the Side
  • Oppositional Dynamism of the Spiral
  • Leaps

Students have the option to enter for dance examinations at teacher’s discretion. It is not required to have passed the Inter-Foundation exam to enter for this grade.
